What is school-based therapy?
School-based therapy refers to mental health services provided to students within the school setting. These services are typically offered by licensed therapists or counselors who are embedded within the school environment. School-based therapy aims to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and social issues that may be affecting a student's ability to learn and thrive in school.
Why School-Based Services?
School-based therapy provides convenient access to mental health support within the school environment, minimizing disruptions to your child's schedule. Through individual and group therapy sessions, your child learns strategies for managing stress, improving social skills, and enhancing self-esteem, fostering early intervention to address challenges.
How to Start Services?
To get your child enrolled in our services, you have a couple of options. You can give us a call directly to inquire about setting up services for your child at their school. Alternatively, you can reach out to school supports such as guidance counselors, social workers, or SAP liaisons and ask them to make a referral on behalf of your child.
