We serve 4,000 individuals and families every year through services in five main program areas: Workforce Development, Housing, Young Adult Services, Foster Care, and Behavioral Health.
Our more than 20 programs work collaboratively to effectively meet the needs of the people we serve. For example, a family staying in our Emergency Shelter may need to acquire job skills in order to pay for permanent housing; a young adult seeking employment may need mental health treatment in order to keep a good paying job. This kind of holistic care can all be found under one roof at Auberle.
Our flagship workforce development program, the Employment Institute (EI), helps individuals ages 14 and older find good-paying, sustainable careers. When individuals graduate from EI, they are equipped to take on the working world.
Our fastest growing service area with nine programs dedicated to a range of housing challenges, including finding stable, safe, and affordable housing; paying back rent; and residence in one of Auberle’s two Family Emergency Shelters.
Our Young Adult Services assist individuals aged 16 through 23 who are aging out of the foster care system. With locations from downtown Pittsburgh to Meadville, our Young Adult Services act as a one-stop-shop for our communities’ young people.
As the largest non-kinship Foster Care agency in the county, Auberle offers strengths-based, trauma-informed, and therapeutic services to children and teens of all ages.
Auberle Behavioral Health offers a wide range of services, from programs that are first-of-their-kind in the country, to working collaboratively with all other Auberle programs to meet diverse needs in all areas of someone’s life.
