Auberle welcomed 165 guests to the dedication of our newly renovated facility for girls' programming on March 28, 2012, with Bishop David A. Zubik and Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald participating in the ceremony. Read some of the media coverage from the day.
This state-of-the-art facility featuring $900,000 in renovations will house 24 girls through two programs exclusively for females including GATE, Auberle's stabilization program for girls and Auberle's new Bloom Program, a semi-independent living program for girls ages 16-20. As a structured group home in the community, young girls will receive, among many services: life and social skill training, education support, workforce development and career planning.
