Visit Pittsburgh Visits AEC with Curriculum and Diversity Shelves

On September 17th, Visit Pittsburgh engaged in a Day of Caring with the students at the Auberle Education Center.  Together 12 volunteers from Visit Pittsburgh spent the day working with the students at the AEC with a curriculum based on awareness centered on the importance of understanding diversity and the impact it has on our lives and others.  They used a fun and educational curriculum designed by Pittsburgh Cares.  Each curriculum included hands on activities; full instructions and the materials needed to complete these activities.  Including a Martin Luther King diversity Bookshelf and a set of diversity themed books donated by Scholastic.
