Third Annual Spelling Bee On Monday March 9, 2009, Auberle volunteers presented the Third Annual Spelling Bee. This year’s theme was March Madness in conjunction with college basketball tournaments. The word list was made from a word list of homonyms. All of the children worked long and hard in this academic challenge. This year’s first place winner was Justin. Second place went to Timmy, third went to Dustin, and fourth place was awarded to Russell. Big CONGRATULATIONS to all 14 participants, they are all winners! The children, staff and volunteers are all looking forward to the 4th Annual Spelling Bee next year. |
