GNC – at the AEC

General Nutrition Centers motto is to “Live Well”.  With that mantra in mind 17 volunteers came to our Alternative Education Center to have the first ever Health and Wellness Day of Caring.  The volunteers worked with the children in several classes explaining the importance of the food pyramid and making healthy choices with menus.  They also had fun in the gym playing games to encourage exercise as part of their life’s routine and choices.
